Thanks to the popularity and success of the Eyeshield 21 manga's run in Japan, there have been various media adaptations and spin-offs created that feature its characters, as well as entirely new storylines and characters. A good many of these are unrelated to the manga series, but are still familiar to and beloved by fans.

As such, this section will try to cover all of the different media that encompass the series' franchise, all of which have differing takes on the source material.

Anime

Eyeshield 21 received three different anime adaptations: two Jump Festa original video animations (OVAs) in 2003 and 2005, and a 145-episode television series produced by Studio Gallop in partnership with TV Tokyo and NAS, which aired from 2005 to 2008. This page will try to compile information on all three.

Note: Because the webmaster has not yet watched any of these, this section may not be expanded upon until sometime in the future.

Light Novels

Light novels (ライトノベル) are short, illustrated novels aimed at middle and high school students, sometimes as spin-offs to existing media and other times as entirely original stories. During Eyeshield 21's run in Weekly Shonen Jump, there were two light novels released, both with color and black-and-white illustrations, as well as brand new characters and storylines unrelated to the main series.

Video Games

Eyeshield 21 has received five different video games across numerous Sony and Nintendo gaming consoles. Additionally, its characters have been featured in supporting roles in two crossover fighting game that featured characters—both playable and non-playable—from nearly every Weekly Shonen Jump series: Jump SuperStars and Jump Ultimate Stars.
